Dumpster Deliveries in Action

Roll-off deliveries for cleanouts, remodels, demolition, and job sites across Seattle and the Eastside.

Rock Box Rental in Seattle for Concrete, Dirt, Brick, and Masonry

Dense materials can reach a standard roll-off’s weight limit before the container is full. Use an approved rock box for concrete, dirt, brick, rock, soil, masonry, or asphalt instead of mixing them with general debris.

The rock box measures 14′ × 8′ × 4′, has a 12-ton maximum, and starts at $450. Current disposal rates are $69 per ton for clean concrete and $89 per ton for mixed rock or dirt.

If you need a concrete dumpster rental, the rock box is usually the correct option. Confirm the material before loading so the team can verify the container, availability, and tonnage rate.

What Can and Cannot Go in a Dumpster

Commonly Accepted in a Standard Roll-Off

  • Household junk and furniture
  • Wood, drywall, cabinets, fixtures, and approved remodeling/roofing debris
  • Yard and green waste at the applicable volume rate
  • Office, retail, warehouse, and property-cleanout material
  • Approved special-fee items

Approved for the Rock Box

  • Clean concrete
  • Dirt and soil
  • Rock
  • Brick and masonry
  • Other heavy materials confirmed before loading

Do Not Load Without Approval

Hazardous or regulated materials: Do not load chemicals, wet paint, batteries, asbestos-containing material, liquids, medical waste, fuel, or other regulated items. Ask before adding unusually heavy material.

Electronics and refrigerants: Washington requires separate recycling for electronics and fluorescent lights. Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners must be disclosed because refrigerants need special handling.

Asbestos-containing materials: Do not assume a building is asbestos-free because of its age. Some projects require a survey, notification, or certified handling before suspect material is disturbed or discarded.

When a Dumpster Is Only Part of the Job

If material still needs to be torn out or loaded, Junk & Demolition Pros can coordinate Demolition, dumpster delivery, and final haul-away under one company. Tell us what is changing, what stays, and your deadline. We will recommend a self-loaded dumpster, crew-loaded Junk Removal, or a planned combination.

Residential Dumpster Rental

A home dumpster rental gives you time to work through a cleanout or renovation at your own pace. Junk & Demolition Pros delivers the roll-off, you load it, and the team picks it up when the rental is complete.

Home Cleanouts, Remodeling, and Roofing

Homeowners rent dumpsters for kitchen and bathroom remodels, garage, basement, and attic cleanouts, moving, rental turnovers, landscaping, roofing, and DIY work. Tell us what is coming out. Household contents use more space, while shingles, tile, soil, and masonry reach weight limits faster.

Choose the Right Size for a Seattle Home

Most home projects begin with a 10- or 20-yard container. Broader renovations and whole-house cleanouts may need a 25- or 40-yard. Send photos so the team can compare volume, weight, driveway space, and possible swaps.

Planning Dumpster Delivery in a Steep or Tight Location?

Send a photo from the street showing the grade, gates, parked vehicles, overhead obstacles, and shared access. Steep driveways, narrow alleys, and limited truck space may require access review or street-placement planning across Seattle, including West Seattle, Magnolia, Ballard, and Fremont. Discuss surface protection before booking.

Pickup, Swaps, and Smaller Loads

Request early pickup if you finish sooner, or ask about a swap if the dumpster fills. For a small pile, heavy lifting, or one-visit removal, full-service Junk Removal may be more cost-effective.

Commercial Dumpster Rental for Active Properties

Junk & Demolition Pros plans commercial dumpster rservice around access, operating hours, debris type, and service frequency. Retailers, restaurants, offices, warehouses, schools, medical facilities, and managed properties can arrange one-time or recurring service.

One-Time and Recurring Dumpster Service

Schedule a roll-off for a cleanout, renovation, or turnover, or arrange recurring dumpster service for ongoing debris. Share the material, deadline, waste volume, and truck access. Pickup and swap timing depends on the confirmed schedule and dispatch availability.

Plan Around Access and Operating Hours

Loading docks, shared alleys, garage entrances, gates, tenant traffic, and operating hours can affect delivery. This is especially important around Downtown, Belltown, SoDo, and Georgetown, where loading areas and shared access may be limited. Confirm the access contact, placement area, and approved delivery times before dispatch.

Commercial Materials and Container Sizes

Large cleanouts and renovations may need a 25-, 40-, or 50-yard roll-off. Approved concrete, dirt, brick, and rock require a commercial rock box. Describe cardboard, office contents, construction debris, and heavy materials before booking.

Commercial Account Setup

Commercial customers can request invoicing, a Certificate of Insurance, and purchase-order references. Share internal approval requirements and site contacts during setup. For multiple properties, provide the addresses and deadlines so the team can confirm service before scheduling.

Need recurring containers or broader site support? See Commercial Property Services.

Contractor Dumpster Rental for Construction and Remodeling

Keep debris from delaying the next trade. Junk & Demolition Pros coordinates contractor dumpster rental around delivery, pickup, and swap needs. A temporary construction dumpster can support remodeling, roofing, demolition, strip-outs, and new construction.

Roll-off dumpster placed on protective sheeting and boards at a job site
  • Roofing dumpster rental: Shingles are dense, so the correct container may be smaller than the debris volume suggests.

  • Concrete and heavy material: Concrete, rock, dirt, brick, soil, and masonry belong in an approved rock box.

  • Mixed construction and demolition debris: Confirm wood, drywall, framing, cabinets, fixtures, and flooring before loading.

  • New construction: Schedule pickups or swaps around framing, drywall, finishing, and other debris-heavy phases to keep the job site clear.

  • Interior remodels and commercial strip-outs: Coordinate placement with other trades, loading zones, and protected access.

For tight job sites, send photos of the approach, gates, parked vehicles, overhead clearance, mud, gravel, and active work areas. Street placement requires an approved SDOT permit before delivery.

Managing several sites? Send each address, debris type, access contact, and schedule. Commercial invoicing and site-specific PO references are available. Projects needing tear-out or final cleanup can also coordinate Demolition and Junk Removal under one company.

Send the site address, debris type, placement limits, delivery date, and expected swap frequency.

What to Compare Before Booking a Dumpster

If you are looking for the cheapest dumpster rental in Seattle? Compare the full cost and service terms, not only the starting price.

Junk & Demolition Pros roll-off dumpsters lined up in the yard
  • What the price includes: Confirm drop-off, pickup, rental days, any included weight, disposal rates, additional-day charges, and special-item fees.

  • The right container for the material: Choose based on weight as well as volume. Concrete, dirt, brick, rock, soil, and masonry may require a rock box instead of a standard roll-off.

  • Delivery, pickup, and swap timing: Confirm the delivery window, pickup process, and whether a full container can be swapped. Timing depends on access, driver schedules, and inventory.

  • Placement and permit responsibility: Confirm truck access, surface-protection needs, and who will obtain a Street Use permit if the dumpster will sit in the public right-of-way.

  • Who will load the debris: Choose a dumpster to load over several days. Choose Junk Removal if you cannot lift the material or need a smaller pile removed in one visit.

Junk & Demolition Pros will compare regular and flat-rate pricing, explain what may change the total, and confirm the earliest available delivery window.

Prepare the Placement Area for Dumpster Delivery

Container placement starts with truck access. Before delivery:

  • Send a photo from the street toward the proposed placement area.

  • Move vehicles, trailers, bins, and other obstacles.

  • Unlock gates and identify shared access.

  • Point out steep grades, soft ground, gravel, mud, pavers, or recently poured surfaces.

  • Identify overhead wires, branches, roof edges, and other vertical obstructions.

  • Keep dumpsters from blocking access, loading docks, fire routes, or active trades.

  • Keep the area clear for pickup as well as delivery.

The driver needs enough approach, width, and vertical clearance to place and retrieve the roll-off safely.

You may not need to be on-site if placement, access, payment, and load conditions are confirmed. A $300 no-service fee applies if an attempted delivery, exchange, or pickup cannot be completed because access is blocked, the dumpster is locked, or the driver is turned away.

Send the delivery address, material type, preferred date, and photos of the load and placement area to confirm the earliest available window.

Dumpster Rental FAQs

What happens if I exceed the weight limit?

An unsafe load may need to be reduced before pickup. The rental agreement lists an additional $100 per ton above the dumpster’s specified maximum, and pickup may be refused.

Can a dumpster go in an alley or shared driveway?

Sometimes, but the approach and placement area must be reviewed first. Send photos showing the width, turns, gates, parked vehicles, and overhead clearance. Private-property permission or a street-use permit may also be required.

Can I move the dumpster after it has been delivered?

Contact Junk & Demolition Pros instead of moving the dumpster yourself. The team will confirm whether repositioning is possible. If the company moves the container within the same jobsite, the fee is $150 per trip.

How is the load weight calculated, and can I request documentation?

Under regular pricing, the loaded dumpster is weighed after pickup at a disposal or recycling facility or scale house. Charges are based on the measured load weight, with one ton equal to 2,000 pounds. Official scale tickets are available on request. Flat-rate 10- and 20-yard rentals include up to two tons, with excess tonnage charged separately.

Will the dumpster have a door I can walk material through?

Yes. Every dumpster has a loading door. Leave enough clearance for the door to open, and confirm the door location for your selected size when planning placement.

Where does the material go after pickup?

Depending on the material and job, Junk & Demolition Pros may use DTG, Waste Management, or a transfer station. A particular facility cannot be guaranteed for every pickup.
